Rivertown Wellness will be hosting a workshop guiding couples through John Gottman’s Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. This workshop will help couples improve friendship, fondness, and admiration, enhance romance and intimacy, manage conflict constructively, gain skills to address perpetual and solvable problems, create shared meaning, and maintain gains throughout a lifetime. Support Group: Unwanted Pornography Use

This is a group for men between the ages of 18-25 who are looking to find hope in their unwanted struggle with pornography and related sexual behavior. The group will integrate faith and clinical frameworks in order to help its members find support and see their struggle from a new perspective with potential new avenues on their journey towards healing.

Please register by completing the form in the link below. Once registered, you can expect a follow-up phone call or email from Rivertown Wellness where we will confirm your enrollment, add you into our client portal and provide additional details. The group will be free to it’s members. It will be a closed group and limited to 10 people, meaning only those who register and are confirmed by the facilitators can attend so as to create a safe, confidential, and committed space.

DATES: Sundays (3/19-4/23)

TIME: 7–8:30pm

Support Group: Parents/Caregiver of Adult Children with a Mental Health Condition

What is it: A healing group for parents and caregivers of adult children that provides a safe space to process, feel known and gain skills to better care for themselves and their loved ones. Facilitated by a licensed therapist, we will address topics including, but not limited to, emotional and physical boundaries, self-care, grief, impact on family/other relatives and siblings, coping skills, psycho-education, safety/crisis and faith/spirituality.

* Please note: This group is for caregivers/parents of adult children. Your loved one will not attend.

DATES: Wednesdays October 12 - December 7 (excluding November 23)

TIME: 6:30–8:00pm

COST: $200 per person ($25 per session per person, commitment to attending each session is encouraged)

This is the third workshop of the learning series and will also build off of the content presented in Discover and Connect. We will take a deeper look at how the Enneagram impacts the work you do. We will address key issues that impact your relationships at the office. The conference will be facilitated by licensed therapist Cody Hanson and licensed social worker Meggie Kingsley.

NOTE: The DISCOVER and CONNECT workshops are pre-requisites to this course, however individuals with a foundational understanding of the Enneagram and their own type are encouraged to attend.

By attending this micro-conference, you will

  • Explore how your personality influences work relationships and team building

  • Understand the way others perceive and respond to your leadership

  • Learn ways to communicate effectively and resolve conflict at work

Join us for DISCOVER, the first of three courses of our Enneagram "micro-conference" designed to give you a better understanding of the Enneagram and how you can use it to more deeply understand yourself.

The Enneagram is a comprehensive personality typing profile which helps you move toward your best self by learning what it looks like to break free from unhealthy habits and catch your blind spots. It effectively highlights both your strengths and challenges in order to increase your self-awareness and understand how you influence others. The conference will be facilitated by licensed therapist Cody Hanson and licensed social worker Meggie Kingsley.

By attending this micro-conference, you will

  • Learn basic characteristics of the Triads and all nine Types
